Mini Colorful Glitters, Review for Born Pretty Store

This is my review of the Mini Colorful Glitters that was sent to me by Born Pretty Store and has itemnumber #20476

These Glitters are mini indeed and really cute in a whole lot of colors and they sparkle!
As you can see in the photo's, the glitters light up like a discoball, depending how the light reaches your nails.

The Mini Colorful Glitters are available in 2 sizes package, 3 and 10 gram.
I was sent the 3 gram-size and there are a lot of glitters in there. I have to make a lot of designs to do trough the 3 gram-box.

You can add these glitters in multiple ways: as an accentnail, like I did in the design above, but they can also give some sparkle at other designs.

Like I did here when I tried to make a simple stamped bird, into a Bird of Paradise by just adding some of the Mini Colorful Glitters of his chest and tail.

I really recommend these Mini Colorful Glitters if you want to add some sparkles to your nailart-designs!

You can get these Mini Colorful Glitters, and a whole lot more, at Born Pretty Store, itemnumber #20476

If you use my code LWGK31, you can get a 10% discount on all items, so also on these Mini Glitters!

What do you think: will you buy and use these Mini ColorfulGlitters to sparkle up your nailart-designs?

Stampingplate Y015, review for Born Pretty Store

This is my review of stampingplate Y015 that was kindly send to me by the Born Pretty Store and is item #20721

I can tell you right away that I love this plate and am really pleased with how the images stamped!
As you can see on the image below, the image transferred with no problems!

The thing that is a pity, but that is because I have really small and rounded nails: I could not get the whole image on my nails.
It is a big image, but if you have wider nails, then you'll be having no problems with fitting the image of the dragon on your nails!

I stamped my dragon over a golden and green nailfoil-base and as you can see it transferred beautifully to my nail.
To make the image stand out a bit more, I decided to fill in the eye with white and a black dot and that was a great addition.

The plate also has really nice flowers that I also stamped over nailfoil, pink this time. (the pink bled trough the white stampingpolish, even though i added a layer of clear nailpolish.)
I am really impressed about the quality of the plate!
Look at my accentnail: this is a full nail stamp that is flawless!

I really recommend this plate if you want a big image that can go over all your nails and still looks stunning!
You can get this plate, and a whole lot more, at Born Pretty Store, itemnumber #20721
If you use my code LWGK31, you can get a 10% discount on all items, so also this stampingplate.

What do you think? Will you buy this plate?

Stamped Dragon over a Gold and Green Foil base - Pictorial

For today I have another Pictorial for a product send to me by Born Pretty Store to review.
I will post my review tomorrow, so first I can show you how to achieve this Fierce Dragon design.

I first painted a white basecoat with 'Snow Me White' by Sinful Color over which I painted 2 layers of  'Bring it Sheer', a gorgeous pastel green with iridescent glitters.

Then i waited until the basecolor was completely dry, with some help of a fast drying topcoat. When the topcoat was completely dry, I applied the nailfoil-glue. Not over my whole nail, but only on certain parts of my nail. It is too bad you can not see it clearly in the above photo.

When the nailfoil-glue was tacky and changed from white to translucent, I first applied the green nailfoil to my nail.
With only touching my nail ever so lightly, I added the green. Not to much, because it is a really striking color.
After the green, I added the gold over the rest of the glue that was not covered with the green foil.
When the foil was how I liked it, I applied another layer of fastdrying topcoat.

Then it was time for my favorite part: the stamping!
I used black stampingpolish by Dashica and my squishy stampinghead.
Look at how gorgeous the image of the dragon stamps!
It is just stunning!

Look at how gorgeous this Dragon is, stamped over the gold and green nailfoil! To let it stand out more, I painted the eye white with a black dot for it's iris. But that is all this stamp needs!

And this is how the whole Dragon looks like, stamped on my 4 nails.
It was a bit of puzzling how to place the parts of the Dragon so it looked like a whole, but I think I did a good job ;)

This design is done with stampingplate Y015 from the Born Pretty Store, itemnumber #20721
If you use my code LWGK31, you can get a 10% discount on all items, so also this stampingplate.

I hope you like my Pictorial!

Full Nail Flower Waterdecals - Pictorial

For today I have a pictorial for these super cute full nail Flower waterdecals.
The Born Pretty Store was kind enough to send me these to try and review.
The review will be my next blogpost.

The waterdecals are easy to use and you have an instant great result without much problems.
I decided to go with the flowers decals and I cut the decal in 5 pieces. There are 2 of the same decals, so enough for 2 full hands or numerous accentnails.
First I painted my nails light Salmonpink, but white would also be a great choice.
When my polish was completely dry, I pulled of the plastic layer.
Don't forget to do this, or your decals sticks to the plastic and will not be able to transfer to your nails.
I've learnt that the hard way ;)

Take a tweezer and place the cut decals in water, one at a time.
Wait for a couple of seconds (10-20) and check if the decals slides off the paper backing.

It should look like this.

Transfer the decal to your nail and wiggle until the decals is in the right place. As long as your nail and/or decals are wet, it will be able to move on its place.
Cut the excess decal with a little scissor.
I also cut the end of the nail. I see a lot of people file it off, but I noticed that when I cut it real close, the topcoat will shrink the decals a little bit and that is enough to smooth out the end of your nail/waterdecal.

This is how it should look like when you've done one nail with topcoat.
I really like how it came out!
The decals are easy to use and with 4 different patterns, you can find what you like!

And these are the 4 waterdecals you can choose from from the Born Pretty Store.
It is item #20316 and you can find it HERE
