Magical Mushroom Forest

This is my first blogpost ever, so be gentle ;)

I am not new to painting my nails: 2,5 years agoI  had 5 bottles of polish, now I have over 500 and counting.
Trough searching the web, on sites like You Tube, Pinterest, Facebook and since september first '14 also actively on Instagram, I've learned so much of all the nailartists I could find.
I watched in awe how to make a watermarble (still a scary thing to me), how I should clean my cuticles, how to make better pictures and how to collect even more nailpolishes.

I'ts been and still is, a fun ride, with it's ups and downs, because I still make designs that I immediately want to trow away, loose it as my stampingimages don't do what I want or if my polish doesn't spread in the water.

But I think that everyone who is enjoying nailart, will have the same ups and down as me.

So that's why I wanted my first blog to be about a design I really like!

Basecoat

This is the base from which I started working.

I used 1 coat of Catrice Nickel Minaj as my base, over which I painted 1 coat of 'Don't Touch My Tardis' by Glitter or Die, a custom-made nailpolish that i love.
It is a darkblue jelly with so much flakies and glitter and I think that it's gorgeousness come out better when it has a light basecoat.

Because I wanted my Forest to be extra magical, i added 2 coats of Essence

'Night In Vegas' for some more flakie-action.

Magical Mushroom Forest
When the background was dry, I painted some red and white mushrooms with Kleancolr 'Red', SinfulColors 'Snow me White' and 'Jumpin' Jade by Sally Hansen for the grass.

The little fairy I made with stampingplate Xiuya-06 and white stampingpaint.

I stamped her and then used the lead-lighting technique to color her in.
I forgot to make a close-up of the fairy, but I made 2 close-up of the mushrooms

I hope you liked my first blogpost and the nailartdesign I've made!
